Comment(s):

The C-160D in service with the air forces of France, Germany and Turkey are in the process of being replaced by the Airbus D&S
A400M. Transall reaching their end of flight hours (service life) are withdrawn from use. More aircraft can be WFU then listed in above table.

All French and German Transall missions are controlled by the European Air Transport Command.

Comment(s):

France:

ET 061 operated the C-160R Transall but with the arrival of the A400M their aircraft were reassigned to ET 064.

Germany:

LTG 62 was the first wing to convert to the A400M. LTG 61 will disband by the end of 2017 with its aircraft reassigned to LTG 63. The last Transall will leave southern Germany at the end of September.
