The above report only shows contracted LRIP / FRP production batches. Information related to future LRIP / FPR batches will be provided below. These are based on available information provided by the nations (MoDs, Air Force, Navy).

The F-35 contracts LRIP / FRP (Low Rate Initial Production / Full Rate Production) are announced by the US DoD and purchased by the US Navy for all nations (operators). Contracts are awarded by batch and once a year and based on the US fiscal year system. F-35As receive a serial (registration number) assigned by their country as well as an USAF serial number. The RAF / RN F-35Bs recieve their UK serial as well as a US Navy / Marine Corps bureau number (BuNo).

On March 13, 2018 the long lead funding contract was awarded for LRIP 13 and LRIP 14. Only the total number of F-35s was disclosed. LRIP 13 contains funding for the USAF, USN, USMC, partner nations and FMS participants. LRIP 14 was ordered for partner and FMS countries only.

Based on other information the long lead funding by country might look to be as reported above. Undisclosed relate to Israel, Japan and South Korea.

LRIP 11:

Contract to be awarded by the end of 2017 and expected to consist of 141 aircraft.

United States:

LRIP 11 is divided into the regular annual F-35 order with FY 17 funds awarded and a contract modification for aircraft added by the U.S. serviced in fiscal year 2016 budget deliberations and by Congress in the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2016.

LRIP 12:

Japan:

On April 22, 2016 a contract was awarded to Lockheed Martin to maintain the planned production schedule for six F-35A LRIP 12 F-35As.

Netherlands:

On May 12, 2016 a contract was awarded to Lockheed Martin to maintain the planned production schedule for eight F-35A LRIP 12 F-35As.

The US DoD awarded long lead funding contracts for LRIP 12 without stating the details per country. LRIP 12 covers 130 aircraft.

The numbers for the United States can different depending on Congress authorization and appropriation!!

Undisclosed the ordering countries are whiped out. See comment the countries are assummed. Israel is most likely to order the most F-35s in the three LRIP. Japan and South Korea are most likely the other countries with unknown who will order the six aircraft in LRIP 44.

LRIP 12 contract actions will commence in the on or about October 2017 and end on or about December 2020.
LRIP 12 aircraft deliveries will run from January through December 2020.

LRIP 13 contract actions will commence in the on or about October 2018 and end on or about December 2021.
LRIP 13 aircraft deliveries will run from January through December 2021.

LRIP 14 contract actions will commence in the on or about October 2019 and end on or about December 2022.
LRIP 14 aircraft deliveries will run from January through December 2022.
