Austria:

Leased 12 F-5E Tiger IIs from the Swiss Air Force operating in the period the Austrian Air Force withdrew its Saab J-35Ö Draken and before if got the EF-2000s delivered.

Greece:

Twelve NF-5s purchased from the Netherlands.

Netherlands:

After the NF-5 was withdrawn from service a number has been scrapped, preserved at museum or as gate guard with the remaining aircraft sold to the Greek (12), Turkish (67) and Venezuelan Air Forces (7).

Norway:

Sold a number of its F-5s to the Turkish Air Force as well as some to the civilian customers.

Switzerland:

A small number of F-5E/Fs are operated by the Swiss Air Force including the Patrouille Swiss display team. 12 Tigers were leased to the Austian Air Force. 42 aircraft were bought by the US Navy who assigned them to aggressor squadrons.

Turkey:

Listed are the NF-5s bought from the Netherlands and F-5A/Bs from Norway. A number of the NF-5s have been upgraded to NF-5A-2000 and NF-5B-2000 variant and are operated by the Turkish Air Force display team Turk Yildizlari (Turkish Stars).
