Comment(s):

Israel:

Expressed an interest in the MV-22 but actual purchase depends on negotiations with the US related to the total defence aid package to the country.

Japan:

Ordered its MV-22 in two batches, five in 2015 and four in 2016.

CV-22B Osprey version for USAF Special Operations Command.
MV-22B Osprey version for USMC.
CMV-22B Osprey version for USN to serve in the Carrier Onboard Delivery role.

The CMV-22B is expected to be ordered by the US Navy in 2018 with first deliveries expected from 2020. It will replace the current C-2A Greyhound serving the COD role. Based on US Navy requirements the range of this Osprey variant has been increased compared to the USAF and USMC aircraft.
