Airbus Defence and Space announced they delivered the third and final C-295M to the

Boeing delivered two P-8A Poseidon aircraft to the US Navy. 41 P-8As have now been delivered as well as eight P-8I to the Indian Navy. Two more aircraft are to be delivered to the US Navy to complete delivery of LRIP 4 which consisted of 13 aircraft. On order are: 8 P-8A for the Royal Australian Air Force, 43 P-8A for the US Navy (Full Rate Production lot 1 - 3) and
4 P-8I for India. The United Kingdom selected the P-8A and a contract has to be signed for the delivery of nine aircraft to the Royal Air Force.

Feb 8:

The first F-35A Lightning II of the Italian Air Force known as AL-01 became the first F-35 to cross the Atlantic ocean. Accompanied by two of the Air Force KC-767As, two C-130J Hercules and two EF-2000s the aircraft departed Italy to land at Luke AFB, Arizona. Here it will join the F-35 training program and its colleagues from Australia and Norway. AL-02 made its first flight on January 15 and will also be flown the Luke AFB.
Note: The formation made a stopover at Lajes, Azores. The formation broke-up on the US East coast with one KC-767A and the F-35A touching down at NAS Patuxent River and the other aircraft at Pease ANGB. These aircraft continued to Nellis AFB where the EF-2000s would participate in a Red Flag exercise.

Feb 7:

On Friday February 5th the Royal Air Force took delivery of two Atlas C1 (A400M) transport aircraft. Both arrived at RAF Brize Norton. Seven have now been delivered out of 22 ordered. Please visit the A400M order and production overview for more details.

Feb 4:

The MoD of the United Kingdom announced a contract for the UK Military Flying Training System covering the Elementarry Flying Training, Basic Flying Training and Multi-Engine Pilot Training. The contract has been awarded to Ascent Flight and runs until 2033. The contractor is responsible for the design, delivery and management of the Fixed Wing training service. 38 new aircraft are to be purchased consisting of: 23 Grob G120s, 10 Beechcraft T-6C Texan and 5 Embraer Phenom 100s.

The fleet of Tucanon T1 aircraft based at RAF Linton-on-Ouse will be withdrawn from use and replaced by the T-6Cs which will all be based at RAF Vakkey which is home to the fleet of RAF Hawk T2s. More than 150 Tucano's have been operated by the RAF.

Feb 3:

Two Lockheed Martin F-16s have been delivered to the Air Force of Iraq, both arriving om February 2 (reported on Twitter).
