JAS-39:

Leased from Saab. A JAS-39D (42) crashed on May 19, 2015. This aircraft has been replaced by a Swedish Air Force JAS-39D. Another accident occured in June 2015 with a JAS-39C, unknown if this aircraft has resumed flying duties.

Airbus:

After the introduction of two A319s a third Airbus of an as yet unknown type should be bought for the Hungarian Air Force.

A319:

Two aircraft acquired on the civil market and accepted into service on February 2, 2018.

Falcon 7:

On August 3, 2018 the Falcon 7X was delivered to the Hungarian Air Force. A second Falcon 7X is expected to be accepted into service in the first half of 2019.

Zlin Z143 and Z242:

The four Zlins will replace the Yak-52s in the basis pilot training role.

Mi-24:

Eventually all 6 P versions which we received in 1995 will be operational again.
Dont forget that serial 335 and 336 received hungarian camo and serial in 2004 and flew till 2013! Now operational again
Only V versions are left as options for the final four, all our V Hinds serials since 1985:

Eight Mi-24s have been upgraded in Russia in 2018. Six are former East German Air Force (Mi-24P) which were transferred to the German Air Force after the unification of both Germanies. They were then sold to the Hungarian Air Force but never entered service. Furthermore two Hungarian Mi-24V's have also been upgraded.
