Gangshan is located near the city Kaohsiung in the southwest. The base
is home to the Air Force Academy which has three groups assigned. The
basic and fighter group are assigned their own block for flight
operations. After one group had landed the other group will take off and
so forth.
The AT-3 was designed and built by Taiwanese aircraft manufacturer
Aerospace Industrial Development Corporation.
