28-04-17 US DoD awards Boeing the contract to build 2 CH-47F's and retrofit the six CH-47's already in service,
  to be delivered by July 30, 2021.
14-04-16 US DoD awards Boeing the contract to build 12 CH-47F's to be delivered by December 31, 2020.
07-09-15 The minister of defence announced to purchase 14 new CH-47F MYII CAAS.
23-03-15 DCSA approved the possible sale of 17 CH-47F Chinooks.
   
 
Comment(s):

All Chinooks were delivered to the US Army at Huntsville, Alabama. Here the Post Production Modifications were completed. The first helicopters were flown to 302 squadron based Fort Cavazos (formely Fort Hood), Killeen-Hood AAF, TX. The Chinooks for 298 squadron were shipped to the port of Antwerp, Belgium and transported to Logistics Center Woensdrecht. After the check and test flight process the Chinooks were flown to Gilze-Rijen.
