Comment(s): The A-10C and U-2S will not be withdrawn from service as previous budgets requested. At least the A-10C will remain in service until FY 21. Not included are funds for the B-21A Raider (previously known as LRS-B) and the T-X competition to replace the T-38s. |

Comment(s): F-35C: Initial Operational Capability (IOC) for the F-35C (CV: Carrier Variant) is scheduled for August 2018. Full Rate Production (FPR) is scheduled to start in April 2019. F-35B: Initial Operational Capability (IOC) for the F-35B (STOVL: Short Take-Off and Vertical Landing variant) occured in July 2015. Full Rate Production (FPR) is scheduled to start in April 2019. CH-53K: IOT&E is scheduled to begin Q4-2019 and Initial Operational Capability (IOC) expected in Q1-2020. MV-22: Projected are 360 MV-22s for the USMC, 53 CV-22 for USSOCOM and 48 CMV-22 for the USN aircraft in the Carrier Onboard Delivery (COD) replacing the C-2A Greyhounds. The first CMV-22 will be delivered in November 2019. UH-1Y/AH-1Z: Currently 333 helicopters are funded, intended total purchase remains at remains 349 aircraft. Long lead funding requested in FY 2018 for 2019 are 17 AH-1Zs (not projected Fy 19 budget are 18 helicopters). MH-60S: No request for FY 2018. Last helicopter delivered on January 4, 2016. MH-60R: No request for FY 2018. FY17 last year of funding. E-2D: FY18 funding requested for five Full Rate Production (FRP) 6 aircraft. |

Aerial Common Sensor: The Enhanced Medium Altitude Reconnaissance and Surveillance System (EMARSS) is the Army's next generation C-12 based, direct support, manned airborne intelligence collection, processing, and targeting support system. AH-64E (Reman): Upgraded (remanufacturered) AH-64D Apaches. UH-60A/L/V: FY18 budget requests 29 UH-60A to UH-60L conversions and 7 new build UH-60V (UH-60L digital). CH-47F: Two new build CH-47F and four Renew MH-47G helicopters. |
