Comment(s): The USAF is running replacement competitions. The UH-1N will be replaced by a new helicopter fielded to the helicopter squadrons (HS) based at intercontinental missile bases. Combat Rescue Helicopter (CRH) will provide for the replacement of the HH-60G Pave Hawks currently assigned to the rescue squadrons (RQS). |

Comment(s): EA-18G Growler: Not included in the budget request. Last aircraft funded in budget FY 16. Total ordered by the US Navy are 163 aircraft. F/A-18E/F Super Hornet: Additional Super Hornets are requested compared to the budget request FY 18. F-35C Lightning II: Initial Operational Capability (IOC) for the F-35C (CV: Carrier Variant) is scheduled for August 2018. Full Rate Production (FPR) is scheduled to start in April 2019. AH-1Z / UH-1Y: Program of record remain at 349 helicopters. VH-92A: Fiscal year 2019 will see the first order for the new Presidential helicopter. |
