Six CH-47F's were bought in 2007, these will be retrofitted. New
fuselages will be built and parts which can be (re)used from the current
helicopters will be fitted. It's currently unknown which of the
squadrons will operate the retrofitted Chinooks. Originally the six were
equally divided between both squadrons however one was transferred from
298 to 302 squadron. |
