Comments:
The F-15s from the MA and OR ANG were the first to arrive at Leeuwarden
(First cell on March 15). Prior to
taking part in Frisian Flag they conducted training missions with the
resident 322 squadron F-16s. Support for the deployment was provided by
several C-17A's of which three arrived and departed on March 15.
The German Air Force participants always arrive on the Thursday. This
year four arrived on the Thursday with the remaining three arriving on
the Friday. The Thursday also saw the arrival of the Polish Air Force Mig-29's.
All other participants arrived on Friday.
